About Me.
I am a trained geographer and recently started my Ph.D. at the Technical University Berlin and the Europe-University Flensburg. In the upcoming years, I will conduct my field research in Berlin and get in (creative) contact with parts of the queer community. I am doing my research on queer narratives in socio-ecological transformations, empirically focussing on Berlin. I am very excited to hear queer folks perspectives on strategies and shortcomings of socio-ecological transformations. Let's enrich the debate! Life is different being queer - suffering and joy go hand-in hand , so let's make space for our experiences, knowledge and emotions. Let's take some space in research to fight the technocratic patriarchal knowledge system that science is stuck with since forever (literally). With an intersectional lens I will try to generate knowledge in a transdisciplinary way, building my theoretical framing on the famous voices of queer theory and queer ecology- Donna Haraway, Sara Ahmed & Miranda Fricker, Patricia Hill Collins and Susan Stryker (naming only a few). Questions or keen to exchange ideas?
